Last week I had the opportunity to address media at the National Press Club in Washington on Political Photography for the Campaign Industry. Afterward I received the official coffee mug and enjoyed lunch at The Reliable Source.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc., the world's biggest retailer, said Friday that it has named Rosalind Brewer as CEO of Sam's Club — the first woman and the first African-American to hold a CEO position at one of the company's business units. This is the PR photograph I created for her.

Assignment: Arthur Blank and the Two Minute Warning

A few months ago I received the assignment to create the official publicity photograph of Arthur Blank, Owner of the Atlanta Falcons (and Co-Founder of the Home Depot). We set up in a corporate suite during the first Carolina Panthers game. I introduced myself and said I know we needed to work fast. He said: "Well let's get started - you have two minutes." And he meant it. After looking at the time stamps on the images, his complete photo time was 00:02:38. He was very nice, and made a point of introducing himself to each member of the crew. Then - he was gone.

We got Cocoa, a mixed American Pit at the opening of the new Atlanta Humane Society December 3rd. It took her a little while, but she is now firmly in place as part of the family.
